The world of television productions, movies and how they influence the world we live in has always fascinated me. This is why, ever since high school I knew I wanted to deepen my knowledge about media.

Making the right decision for my academic future was never easy, although the idea of studying abroad had been on my mind for some time. After hours of comparing courses and campuses, writing advantages and disadvantages lists and constantly consulting with Simon and my family, I remained with a handful of options: University of East Anglia, Lancaster, Leicester, Loughborough and Cardiff. The University of Lancaster, however, appealed to me the most due to the quality of courses in their media department along with the excellent accommodation and facilities.
